As I reflect on the morning of July 4th -- I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for the awe and beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. Early in the morning my husband, Mike, also a Realtor, headed out to play golf with 15 other guys.

Hilton Head Island Beach Access
Hilton Head offers about 14 miles of beach! Most of it is along the Atlantic Ocean Coast, some is along the Calibogue Sound, some on the Port Royal Sound at Port Royal plantation and Hilton Head Plantation has a small beach next to Dolphin Head, also on Port Royal Sound.

Bring your horses to Hilton Head & Bluffton!
You may not have realized that in addition to the fabulous golf, tennis and water activities available in the Hilton Head area, there is also a great equestrian community. Indeed this area has a great horse culture, even its own species of horse, the Carolina Marsh Tacky, a descendent of the horses brought over by Spanish explorers in the 1500’s. If you are thinking of relocating and are looking for a community that you can share with your equine friends, look no further.
