Hello everyone.  I'm in Jacksonville FL attending a conference on distress properties.  The training centers on being successful with Short Sale transactions, or selling a property for less than the mortgage amount before the home is foreclosed upon.  The information has been truly valuable.  We are seeing more and more of the transactions occurring on Hilton Head Island.  These "short sale" are now the norm and are terrifically preferable to foreclosure both for the lending institution and the seller.  Today is our last day of training; I'll be blogging more about the process in the weeks to come.
