I always like to know what is happening in Real Estate on Hilton Head Island or in every market place across the country.
I love asking fellow Realtors how they are doing or what they are seeing out on the streets of our beautiful island! It's amazing how you can ask several Realtors, top agents, or team members and get the same response across the board. They all say what I know is happening, it's BUSY, but only the TRUE DEALS are selling. Yes, more people are looking, but it does not mean that everything is moving, we know that and the numbers in the current housing market prove it, they are down. When you really look into any area or any complex one thing is true, there is a lot of inventory of homes for sale and only a few good deals and maybe one GREAT BUY! What I have found to be true is that the GREAT BUY will sell and in my personal experience, over the past 2 months, usually with multiple offers. Yes folks, it's happening out there, multiple offers, but it's only because there are simply not that many GREAT BUYS out there. When you see one, you really need to jump on it and make your contract clean. To sellers: I say this sellers, price is the key and you have to stand out in a market overwhelmed with inventory. People are looking and some are buying, but they are only looking at the deals. Things will get better, but it will take time! Ask a Realtor in your market place to really get the word on the street!
