however, if you want your home to "stand out" amongst the competition, here are a few tips.
First, declutter your home and yard which means that less is more. If you have a piece of furniture that does not really go in a certain place, but you just had to put it somewhere, remove it meaning "dumpster city" or storage closet. If you have a 1000 pictures of your children or grandchildren or pets, remove the majority of them and have just a few. If you have your kitchen counterspace covered with bowls, baskets, a griddle, remove everything.It is extremely important for your home to look as clean and neat as possible. Again, this goes for your yard as well. Plant some flowers, put down pine straw, and add some color if you have none. Remember, the buyer has to imagine themselves in your home.
Second, have a home inspection. If there is a problem with your roof, HVAC system, electrical system, terrible wood rot, find out NOW rather than later because you could scare a buyer away.
