During the time period between the 18th and the 24th of August, six new listings came on the market in Hilton Head Plantation.
The new listings include:
41 Drayton Park, with a list price of $535,000
175 Crooked Pond, with a list price of $534,950
366 Headlands, listed for $499,900
23 High Bluff Jingle with a list price of $499,000
200 Crooked Pond, listed for $485,000
86 Dolphin Head, with a list price of $324,500.
A total of eight homes experienced price reductions. The great news is that during this week, five homes went under contract. What I have noticed lately, is the fact that our average length of time on market continues to decrease, proving that if your home is priced properly when you first list it for sale, it will sell quickly. The five homes that went under contract were on the market for only 45,118, 12, 22 and 12 days. Their list prices ranged from $154,000 to $559,000. Four (4) homes experienced successful closings during this time period. The selling prices ranged from $254,101 to $525,000.
Did you know that Hilton Head Plantation has more social groups and clubs than most plantations on the Island. One such club is called The Avid Gardeners. The Avid Gardeners is a group that wants to learn more about all aspects of growing and enjoying the wonderful vegetation that grows and thrives in our Lowcountry climate. The club meets at the Spring Lake Pavilion on the 3rd Friday of each month, except for July and August. Meetings begin at 9:30 am with a social time spent enjoying coffee and goodies made by the members. Every meeting usually has a colorful speaker or trips to nearby venues that increase knowledge of gardening or flower arranging. Other activities enjoyed by the group include; a holiday party at The Plantation House in December, decorating the Plantation for Christmas, a bridge luncheon in February and club lunches at local restaurants. They also host plant swaps and tours of members' gardens. Annual dues are $25.
