Welcome to my second blog. Please be sure to visit this website! Whenever I have people call me to look at real estate for the first time on Hilton Head, I always ask them "What kind of lifestyle do you want when you live here?"
Many of you choose to have a home on Hilton Head because you have a history here with the island possibly due to family living here or family vacations. Others decide to come to our beautiful island because they have met someone who lives on the island or spent a lot of time here. My parents said the decision was easy to move to the Hilton Head/Bluffton area, but difficult as far as where to live because the possibilities were endless. You can live on the ocean, a couple of rows from the ocean, live on the marsh, live on the deepwater with a dock, have a golf/lagoon view, live in a private golf course community, or just live in a community with lots of amenties like Hilton Head Plantation or Sea Pines where a Country Club is an option. We have a lot of people that buy rental property and then 5 to 10 years down the road, decide on a different lifestyle if they want to live here permanently. Just know that whatever lifestyle you choose to live on Hilton Head Island, it will be a real estate investment that you will not regret down the road plus an opportunity to create many wonderful family memories!
