You may enjoy the beaches at your choice of eight public beach accesses. A popular location is Coligny Beach Park which offers seasonal beach rentals. It is located off the traffic circle on Pope Avenue, adjacent to Coligny Plaza, a shopping and dining plaza. Also south-island is Alder Lane Beach Access, off South Forest Beach Drive.
Conveniently situated mid-island are Chaplin Community Park, off William Hilton Parkway between Burkes Beach Road and Singleton Beach Road, offering tennis and basketball courts, a picnic pavilion, playground, trails and a dog park. Burkes Beach access, at the end of Burkes Beach Road. Driessen Beach Park, at the end of Bradley Beach Road where there are seasonal beach rentals available, grills, and picnic pavilion, playground and a boardwalk. Folly Field Beach Park, off Folly Field Road, with seasonal beach rentals and a boardwalk. Islanders Beach Park off Folly Field Road, with a picnic pavilion and grills, playground and a boardwalk.
Located at the north end of the island is Mitchellville Beach Park, at Mitchellville Road off Beach City Road.
